Violations of are punishable by60 days in the County jail and/or a fine of $25 to $1,000.
How are violators given notification?
Through BHCA:
1st notification: written notice from BHCA.
2nd notification: follow-up written or oral notification from BHCA.
3rd notification: Gwinnett County Police Department is notified of failure to comply.

If you need to report a violation of either a neighbor or nearby area in our community, you may do so in one of two ways.

Regardless of which
method your report the violation, you MUST provide:
- YOUR NAME and CONTACT
information
- COMPLETE ADDRESS of
the violating address (including street number and name)
- DESCRIPTION of the
violation
When violations involve neighbors, please consider first talking with this neighbor to see if the violation can be resolved in a neighborly manner. Perhaps your neighbors has had a life event that makes upkeep of their home difficult.
